One of the leaders of the Don’t Let Belgrade D(r)own movement Radomir Lazovic, who is one of the fiercest critics of the regime of Aleksandar Vucic and the Serbian Progressive Party in the country, has for years been subjected to attacks by government representatives and the pro-government media. Last week’s brutal attack on Lazovic in the Srpski Telegraf tabloid and other pro-regime outlets has drawn condemnation from public critics and again confirmed that the government will stop at nothing to crack down on people who think differently.
