The secretary-general of the People’s Party, Stefan Jovanovic, who is also the party’s spokesperson, has become the most prominent member of Vuk Jeremic’s conservative party over the past few months. Since he was named the party whip after Miroslav Aleksic’s faction left the People’s Party, Jovanovic has been almost the only party official present in the media, unveiling Jeremic’s great trust in him.
