A Bridge Between the Right and the Greens

Faculty of Forestry professor Ratko Ristic, the informal candidate for Belgrade mayor of the right-wing National Gathering coalition, is one of the university professors who are most attacked by the ruling Serbian Progressive Party. Even though he is part of the campaign for the Dec. 17 elections among the most prominent figures of the coalition comprising Serbian Movement Dveri and Serbian Party Oath Keepers, Ristic is also close to Aleksandar “Cuta” Jovanovic’s Ecological Uprising, which is part of the pro-European Serbia Against Violence alliance.
