Nenad Stefanovic, the head of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, has been frequently targeted by independent media and opposition politicians over the past year, describing him as "one of the vital regime links in the captured judiciary." Stefanovic has come under public scrutiny again after he filed 11 complaints against the prosecutor Bojana Savovic, with whom he had been “waging war” via media for months.
