Targeted by the Regime

Journalist Ana Hegedis Lalic, chief of the Independent Journalists’ Association of Vojvodina, has received countless death threats over the past few weeks for her statements at a leftist festival in the Croatian town of Dubrovnik, which have seriously piqued Serbian nationalists. The Aleksandar Vucic government is responsible for the attacks on Hegedis Lalic, but other journalists as well, for creating an atmosphere in society that encourages this kind of behavior and for not punishing the culprits.
