With Personal Integrity to the Biggest Election Surprise

Together with his group of citizens cardiovascular surgeon Dragan Milic became the most successful opposition candidate in Serbia’s local polls on June 2. Milic, a newcomer to politics, ran only in Nis and won a quarter of the votes of those who went to the polls. The success, achieved without any party infrastructure, was the result of people’s confidence in Milic, broadly seen as an honest man with integrity.
