Albin Kurti, Self-Determination Movement leader and likely premier after a snap vote in Kosovo on Oct. 6, is the most prominent personality in the opposition bloc that has driven almost the entire hitherto ruling elite out of office.

Kurti is a hard-line, Kosovo pro-independence politician who can be expected to be more unyielding and more demanding in negotiations with Belgrade on normalizing relations than his predecessors.
