U.S. military aircraft delivered to Sarajevo's airport medical supplies, hospital equipment, food and water, the U.S. embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported on Facebook. U.S. troops handed the delivery to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, distributing the aid across the state.

As the NATO partner and long-term friend to Bosnia, the United States and the American people react to the situation with strong and consistent support we have been offering to the citizens of Bosnia for more than 25 years.

The embassy went on to say that the U.S. state secretary promised $100 million to support international efforts, as well as $1.25 billion the State Department and USAID will program to fight the pandemic globally.

Bosnia has reported 128 infected person.
