Donation

Belgrade's medical center "Dr Dragisa Misovic - Dedinje" received a donation worth RSD2,240,000 from the German embassy, says an April 29 release.

The embassy joined the Fund B92 in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, providing funds for the purchase of 13 infusion pumps. The donation was delivered by the German ambassador to Serbia, Thomas Schieb, and the president of the Fund 92 steering committee, Veran Matic.

The infusion pumps are used to infuse fluids, drugs and nutrients into a patient's circulation system, as well as for more precise drug dosages.

"We are glad to be able to help our neighbor, "Dr Dragisa Misovic - Dedinje," located very near the German embassy. We want to contribute as neighbors, and support the hospital's much needed services and staff in their fight against the virus," the ambassador said.

The director of the Belgrade hospital, Vladimir Djukic, thanked for the donation, expecting it to help the hospital staff to a large extent.
