On May 11, the Serbian Electoral Commission adopted a decision on the continuation of elections activities for the parliamentary elections.
Commission chairman Vladimir Dimitrijevic recalled that the elections had initially been called on March 24 and scheduled for April 26, but that the commission terminated all activities because of the state of emergency.
“Now, the deadlines for all election activities, [for the elections] to be held on June 21, 2020, are on again,” Dimitrijevic said at the commission’s first meeting since the state of emergency had been introduced, adding that the new deadlines will be defined by a special act.
