The Serbian government decided at its May 14 session to amend the decision on the protocol for the Serbian citizens' entry into Serbia, in keeping with the epidemiological situation and with the purpose of protecting the population against the corona virus.

"Serbian citizens may enter the country and move without limitations with a negative PCR test for the corona virus, not older than 72 hours. If a Serbian citizen enters Serbia without the test, they are obliged to spend 14 days in self-isolation," reads the statement of the government.

It was added that, during self-isolation, citizens may perform the test in one of the reference laboratories in the country and, if the test is negative, end the self-isolation.

The government amended the decision on the limitation of prices of basic foods and protective equipment, which extends the limitation by another 30 days.

"In order to prevent abuse and unjustified price hikes, the government defined a list of products whose prices cannot be increased. Bearing in mind that physicians still recommend the wearing of protective equipment, this decision of the government also prevents the increasing  of prices of these items," the statement reads.
