Joksimovic, Visegrad Group Ambassadors on Continuing Cooperation

Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic met on June 16 with the heads of the Visegrad Group's diplomatic missions in Belgrade on methods for further enhancing cooperation between Serbia and the Group (V4), which is already constructive and regular, and events linked to membership negotiations between Serbia and the EU, the Serbian government has announced.

She met with Hungarian Ambassador Attila Pinter, Slovakian  Ambassador Fedor Rosoha and Czech Ambassador Tomas Kucta as well as the charge d'affaires of the Polish Embassy Andrzej Kindziuk.  The V4 ambassadors reiterated that the EU's expansion policy was the best mechanism for achieving stability and prosperity in the Western Balkans.

They stressed that the V4 would continue actively supporting Serbia's accession process, given Serbia's devotion  to conducting reforms for adopting European values and standards in all areas pertinent to the well being of its citizens
