Mihajlovic: I Expect New Government to Be Even Better and More Efficient

Minister of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said on June 24 that she expected the new government to be even better and more efficient, with even more good people in it.

"The government is first and foremost an operative body, it is political the least. And that is why it is important that it comprise quality people, that it work quickly and efficiently," she told Prva TV.

She added that she loved her job and was doing it the same as she had done before. "We are in the middle of construction season, my day is the same as before, I try not to look at the front pages and to do my job the best I can, the results are the ones that determine us," said Mihajlovic.

When asked about the makeup of the new government, she said that question was far from this day and that what mattered was that the parliament was formed first.

"If you're asking me what kind of government I would like to see, it is to be even better and more efficient, with even more educated, experienced and capable people. Whoever ends up leading the ministry I am at the helm of, I will suggest that it remain a single ministry, because I know how connected these departments are and that it is the key to projects being carried out faster and more efficiently. When we formed the government in 2014, Aleksandar Vucic made that decision and it has proven to be excellent," said Mihajlovic.
