Department of State has voiced its satisfaction with the restoration of the Belgrade-Pristina dialog under the auspices of the European Union, noting that the dialog has its support, the Voice of America reported on July 19.
"We're happy that the European Union organized the encounters between Serbia and Kosovo and offer our full support," read the written response of an unnamed spokesperson for the State Department to a question by VoA about the resumption of dialog.
"Our goal is an agreement that the two sides will reach on the comprehensive normalization of relations. Normalization is essential to securing stability, progress and security in the Western Balkans," the reply read.
