Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Aug. 9 that she did not know whether she or someone else would be picked as prime minister of the new cabinet, but that whoever it was, it would be a good pick. She added that she would support any other candidate selected by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, because they are "all good."
Brnabic told Prva TV that she was happy with the cabinet's results and the new government, whoever was ultimately chosen to helm it, would continue to carry out the 2025 Development Strategy.
"Whether I am (the prime minister) or someone else, I know it will be someone of quality. The objective is a clear plan on how to fulfill this important strategy by 2025 if Serbia is to continue changing the way we started under this administration," Brnabic said.
Asked whether there were ministers in the outgoing cabinet whom she would not like to see in the new one, Brnabic answered yes. "Yes, there are, but I can't discuss that because it wouldn't be above-board," she explained.
