News conference Aug. 11 government Crisis Headquarters
Six more people died of the consequences of the coronavirus in Serbia bringing the death toll to 652.
Batut Institute deputy director Darija Kisic Tepavcevic told a news conference held on Aug. 11 by the government Crisis Headquarters that 235 out of 8,086 people tested for the virus were positive.
The number of hospitalized people is 2,817 of whom 203 were hospitalized in the past 24 hours while 376 persons were discharged. A total of 91 patients are on ventilators.
The number of active cases is 8,799 while the number of cured since the outbreak of the pandemic is 18,965. Since the start of the epidemic, a total of 762,229 people have been tested of whom 28,497 tested positive.
