Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided that as of Oct. 19 a car insurance green card will no longer be required for vehicles from Serbia and another 33 European states.
Bosnia has signed an agreement joining a licence plate subsystem valid for 33 EU states, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Iceland, Norway and Serbia.
The owners of motor vehicles registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina will no longer be required to present a green card upon entry into those states.
"After years of preparations to establish and fulfil the criteria and standards of the European community of insurers, the Green Card Bureau in Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a Multilateral Guarantee Agreement that included Bosnia and Herzegovina into the so-called licence plate subsystem," the Bureau reported.
