EU Special Envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak is to submit his report on the talks between Serbia and Kosovo during an EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting on Oct. 12, EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy High Representative Josep Borell announced ahead of the session.
“The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is ongoing, and today we will see and hear the report of the special envoy, Mr. Lajcak, who will be joining us,” Borell said in Brussels.
Croatian Foreign Minister Goran Grlic Radman said Lajcak has his “full support” in his efforts.
“I hope both sides, Kosovo and Serbia, will reach a comprehensible agreement, as the status quo is not an option,” Grlic said before the meeting.
The Foreign Affairs Council is scheduled to meet in Luxemburg on Oct. 12, to debate issues related to other topics as well, such as the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Belarus and Turkey.
