Serbian President and leader of the Serbian Progressive Party Aleksandar Vucic said on Oct. 25 that Belgrade could not leave the negotiating table even though it was Pristina that had failed to meet its commitments, because "we would be the ones to blame."

"There have been countless times when I wanted to look away, but it would be a three to zero victory for them if I did, just like it is when someone leaves the field," Vucic said after a session of the Progressives' presidency.

Commenting on the composition of the new cabinet, Vucic said that Bratislav Gasic would remain at the helm of the Security and Information Agency, and that his post wasn't even discussed. As for Gordana Comic, a nominee for the leading postition in the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialog, Vucic said that  she could help with her experience and pro-European views, even though they had not gotten along politically in the past.

When asked about a Covid-19 vaccine, the president said the plan was to obtain the first vaccines by the end of the year, and that in order to convince the citizens that it was safe, he would get the vaccine of the first producer, whoever that may be, while Ana Brnabic would get the second producer's vaccine.
