Weapons and ammunition exported from Serbia have been used by Armenian armed forces defending Nagorno-Karabakh, and footage from the area shows Serbian-made anti-aircraft guns, rocket launchers, ammunition and Black Arrow sniper rifles.
The Balkan Security Network portal reported on Nov. 8 that weapons and mortar mines produced in Serbia were seized by Azerbaijani forces, while the Armenians captured a 12.7-millimeter M02 machine gun, which was probably used by mercenaries from Syria fighting for Azerbaijan.
In a report on how Serbian weapons ended up in Nagorno-Karabakh, the website stated that the use of these armaments coincided with the export operations of Belgrade's Vektura Trans which is connected to controversial arms dealer Slobodan Tesic.
