Over the past 24 hours a total of 53 people died of the coronavirus bringing the death toll to 2,433, according to a Dec. 15 post on the covid19.rs website.
A total of 5,884 new cases out of 18,989 people tested were registered. Out of 9,320 hospitalized patients 312 are on ventilators.
On Dec. 15 the Serbian government decided that foreign arrivals both in terms of domestic and foreign nationals could enter the country only with a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours. The decision will take effect on Dec. 20.
Serbian citizens who do not possess negative PCR tests must spend ten days in isolation at home. They can test themselves in Serbia and if negative they no longer have to self-isolate.
