Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has announced that a new shipment of vaccines against COVID-19 made by Pfizer-BioNTech containing 58,000 doses would arrive in Serbia on March 1.

She went on to say that a shipment of 100,000 doses of Sputnik V would arrive from Russia late on Feb. 28, which would place Serbia over the two-million mark in the number of doses procured.

"Another 500,000 Sinopharm vaccines are coming in from China on March 5. We have no problem with vaccines," the PM said.

Asked about announcements of a "COVID passport" by the European Union, Brnabic said that it would "go against every European value," first of all freedom of movement and the right to choose. She said requiring documents of this kind would lead to discrimination against people unable to receive a vaccine against the coronavirus due to health or other reasons.
