Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated on April 1, in comment of the announcement of the holding of a NATO military exercise in Kosovo, that he believed stability and peace would be preserved.

It was announced that the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) would participate in the military exercise "Immediate Response 21," within the "Defender Europe 21" multinational exercise of the U.S. and NATO allies.

"It is neither the first, nor the last time that the Albanian side attempts to show that they can do whatever they want, with a great deal of impunity. If there were to be any serious danger of risk for the Serb people – I do not have to continue... The Serbs in Kosovo know everything," Vucic said.

After inspecting the works on the Preljina-Pozega segment of the Milos the Great motorway, Vucic said that he did not see the recognition of Kosovo's independence as something that would contribute to stabilization or anything good in the region. "If anyone thinks that stability of the Western Balkans can be built in the way that the Serbs and humiliated and defeated – that is not possible," stated the Serbian president.
