Prime Minister Ana Brnabic on April 27 said that at the moment, 34 percent of Serbia’s population had received one dose of Covid-19 shot, while 23 percent had been revaccinated.

In a statement to TV Pink, Brnabic said that the plan was to have 37 percent of citizens inoculated with one dose of Covid-19 shot by the end of April, noting she believed that the target would be achieved.

“I think that we need to talk more to the people. For example, to tell those who have allergies that it is safe to receive shots, or to tell those planning a baby that is safe to be inoculated,” Brnabic stressed, adding that it was necessary to request responsibility which, she said, Serbia’s citizens had demonstrated.

Brnabic once again said she believed that Serbia’s citizens could be safe from the coronavirus in June.
