63 People Die From Coronavirus in Serbia, 6,697 Newly Infected

63 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 9,761, it was announced on Oct. 28.

According to figures of Serbia's Institute for Public Health, there were 6,697 new infections among 23,474 tested people in the past 24 hours.

6,792 patients are currently being treated for the disease in hospitals, 275 of them on ventilators. 6,253,869 people have been tested since the start of the epidemic in Serbia, and the presence of the virus was confirmed in 1,125,602 cases.
