37 people died from the consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia in the past 24 hours and there were 19,063 newly infected among the 37,811 people who took the test, it was announced on the covid19.rs web-site on Jan. 26.
138 covid patients are on ventilators among the 3,206 people who are receiving treatment in hospitals. 1,598,910 cases of infection have been confirmed since the start of the epidemic in Serbia in 7,974,355 performed tests.
The Pharmaceutical Chamber of Serbia has launched a post-covid advisory program, which should be available to the people in pharmacies, the director of the Chamber, Tatjana Sipetic, told RTS on Jan. 26, adding that "80 percent of the 1.6 million infected so far in Serbia could potentially have some of the post-covid symptoms."
