Three Die of COVID-19 in Serbia, 281 Newly Infected

Three people died of COVID-19 in Serbia in the last 24 hours, while 281 were confirmed to be newly infected with the coronavirus that causes the disease.

According to a post on the covid19.rs website, 7,852 samples were tested in the same time frame.

Currently 96 patients are hospitalized with COVID-19, eight of whom are undergoing mechanical ventilation.

Since the COVID epidemic was officially declared in Serbia, 16,091 people have died of the disease according to official records, while the death rate on June 6 stood at 0.80 percent.
