Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency to Check Property of 20 Percent of Officials

The Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency has selected by draw 20 percent of officials who are subject to the annual reporting of property and assets and whose property status will be thoroughly checked.

Out of the total 4,662 declared individuals, 932 officials will be subjected to a complete property and asset check, website KoSSev wrote, conveying reports by Pristina media.

Among the officials whose reported property and assets will be checked are Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti, Assembly Speaker Glauk Konjufca, Democratic Party of Kosovo leader and MP Memli Krasniqi, and New Kosovo Alliance President Behgjet Pacolli.

Also on the list are Deputy Premier Emilija Rexhepi, Agriculture Minister Faton Peci and Deputy Justice Minister Blerim Sallahu, as well as numerous local officials and about 20 MPs.
