The last 24 hours have seen one death of COVID-19 in Serbia, and the death toll of the epidemic to date now stands at 16,132.
According to the records of the Serbian Institute of Public Health, 1,260 new cases of infection were confirmed among 8,328 persons tested in the same time frame.
There are 121 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19 in the country, three more than the previous day. Nine of these patients are on ventilators, two more than announced in the previous rundown.
The current fatality rate is 0.79 percent.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia, 9,929,796 samples have been tested and 2,033,180 were found to be positive for SARS-CoV-2.
