NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in Bucharest, on Nov. 30, that Russia’s aggression against Ukraine had led to the Alliance’s stronger support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia and Moldova.

At the beginning of the third session of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) during a two-day meeting of NATO foreign ministers, Stoltenberg said that the three partner states had been enjoying the Alliance’s support for years, but the cooperation had been strengthened after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24.

Stoltenberg said that the NATO had helped the three states build their defense capacities, carry out reforms and make their institutions more resilient.

The NATO, Swedish and Finnish foreign ministers, who participated in the first two sessions of the Council during the conference, were joined by their Bosnian, Georgian and Moldovan counterparts during the third.
