The organizers of the “Serbia Against Violence” protests will hold the next rally in Belgrade on July 1, which will include a march to the head office of Television Pink in protest against the announced new reality show, it was announced on June 28.

A member of parliament from the Green-Left Club, Aleksandar Jovanovic Cuta, said at a news conference in front of the head office of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media (REM) that the organizers expected provocations to take place in front of TV Pink, but that they would “march peacefully,” without the desire to “demolish the television station” but only to demonstrate their “opinion of that evil.” “That must end, and we shall see how. Let Aleksandar Vucic and (Pink director) Zeljko Mitrovic think thoroughly about their behavior towards the citizens,” he stated.

The co-president of the Together party, Nebojsa Zelenovic, has stated that protests against violence were held in 20 cities last week and that they would take place in as many as 29 this week. He said that this showed everyone who thought that the protests were dissipating because of the summer vacations, that this was not the case and that the protests were expanding.
