Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic had a brief meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Maliki in Belgrade, late in the evening on July 24. The meeting took place at the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport as the Palestinian minister was only in transit through Serbia’s capital.
The ministers described bilateral relations as good, underlining traditional friendship, according to a statement from the Serbian Ministry. They also said that such relations were underpinned by mutual support extended in international forums and organizations.
Both ministers also said they wished to maintain continuity of political dialogue, primarily through regular exchange of high-level visits, it is said in the statement.
