The presidents of Serbia and Republika Srpska, Aleksandar Vucic and Milorad Dodik respectively, will on Aug. 4 lay wreaths at the memorial on the Petrovacka Cesta road, thus starting the marking of the 28th anniversary of the expulsion of almost the entire Serb population from the self-proclaimed Republic of Serbian Krajina after Croatian military and police Operation Storm.
The presidents will lay wreaths at the site where Croatian aviation in August 1995 bombed a refugee column of Serbs, killing 10 and severely wounding several dozen people.
A session of the Council of RS and Serbia for implementation of the Agreement on Special and Parallel Ties will be held in Banjaluka, and an agreement will be signed on the construction of two memorial centers dedicated to the victims of Jasenovac.
Serbian and RS officials will in Prijedor in the evening on Aug. 4 attend a ceremony marking Remembrance Day of Serbs killed and expelled in Operation Storm.
