The former members of the European Parliament, Eduard Kukan and Knut Fleckenstein concluded meetings with representatives of the parliamentary caucus of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia in the Serbian Parliament on Aug. 29, after which no press release was issued.
They are now meeting with MPs of the ruling Social Democratic Party of Serbia. According to party official Milorad Mijatovic, it has been agreed that no press releases will be issued after the Aug. 29 meetings.
Kukan and Fleckenstein are to meet with representatives of all parliamentary groups and independent MPs, with the last meeting in the Serbian Parliament scheduled for 5 pm.
On Aug. 29, the two former MEPs first met with Progressives’ MP Vladimir Orlic and later with Socialists’ MPs Djordje Milicevic, Nedja Jovanovic and Zarko Obradovic.
