Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Oct. 2 that she intends to join the Serbian Progressive Party, but did not specify when this will happen or the reasons for such decision.
"This is something you will see in the future. I intend to join the Serbian Progressive Party for many reasons. I will explain them at [the] moment [that happens]," Brnabic said after a meeting dedicated to public administration.
Certain media have been reporting that the prime minister will become a Progressive party member in the second half of October, when the party will mark its anniversary.
When asked whether the government will be reshuffled and several ministers replaced before the spring elections, Brnabic said that she never avoided the issue of cabinet reconstruction.
