Matthew Palmer (BETA/Milos Miskov)
Special State Department envoy for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer will not attend a Belgrade security conference being held from Oct. 16-18, as earlier announced.
The BETA news agency was told by the U.S. Embassy that Palmer "has postponed his visit to Belgrade due to other pressing matters." It added that Palmer, however, intended to visit Serbia soon.
Instead of him, Deputy Chief of Mission David Kostelancik will attend the conference.
