According to the Serbian prime minister, the strategic partnership and ironclad friendship between the two countries had been solidified over the past six years, and bilateral cooperation had reached an exceptional level thanks to the personal relationship between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, as well. In the past four years, from 2018 to 2022, the value of trade rose 2.7 times, and Serbian exports to China by as much as 12.7 times.
