Bahrain Foreign Affairs Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani has informed his Serbian counterpart, Ivica Dacic, that Bahrain’s government is taking care of their Serbian community even during the coronavirus pandemic, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a press release on April 13.

In a letter to Dacic, Al Zayani said that “Bahrain is relentlessly taking care of the Serbian community in the Kingdom, paying attention to its needs, which is a clear sign of a strong friendship and solidarity between our two countries and peoples,” the press release said.

“Health centers in Bahrain are dedicated to the health and safety of the Serbian Diaspora in our country, which includes necessary testing and providing health care services in order to prevent coronavirus from spreading,” the minister further wrote in his letter.

“I am looking forward to continuing our cooperation and the further strengthening of the friendship between our two countries, as well as to the advancement of our common interests,” the Bahrain minister concluded.
