Eight People Die in Serbia of Coronavirus, 379 Infected

In Serbia in the past 24 hours eight people died of the consequences of the coronavirus, deputy director of the Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut public health institute Darija Kisic Tepavcevic announced on July 28.

At a Crisis Headquarters news conference she said that 9,817 persons were tested in this period of whom 379 tested positive.

A total of 156 patients are on ventilators, while a total of 4,531 have been hospitalized. "In the Republic of Serbia a total of 24,520 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 disease were registered by 3 p.m.," Kisic Tepavcevic said.

"The death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 551," she said.
