Parliament of Free Serbia

An open media conference called the Assembly of Free Serbia is taking place in Belgrade on Aug. 10.

The speakers at the conference, which will be held in front of the Faculty of Philosophy, will be members of the Assembly's board of organization academician Dusan Teodorovic, jurist Savo Manojlovic and farmer Dragan Kleut, who is a member of the Agriculture Council of the Assembly of Free Serbia.

As members of this Assembly, they will elaborate on why they believe the recently inaugurated Serbian parliament, which will reconvene on Aug. 10, was "elected in contravention of the Constitution and the law."

A press release says that "because of the long-term, severe and consistent violation of all legal procedures in recent years, no election can be considered legal until a minimum of fair conditions is ensured," hence that, "The same follows for any parliament elected in such an election."
