Japan Helping Specialization of Serbian State Organs' Employees

The Serbian minister for European integration, who is also the coordinator for international development aid, Jadranka Joksimovic, sent a letter on Aug. 26 to the Embassy of Japan, about programs of Japan's development aid for the specialization of employees of state organs and public institutions.

The programs are organized by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency, and the Ministry has stated that employees would attend seminars in 16 thematic fields in Japan in 2021.

Among these fields are information and technological development, development of the private sector, welfare policy and health, energy, transportation, environment protection. For the first time this year, there is the possibility for long-term specialization at universities in Japan in the fields of "UN Sustainable Development Targets – Agenda 2030."
