Radomir Lazovic of the Don't Let Belgrade Drown movement stated on Aug. 24 that the movement "absolutely" supported the Europride and that a delegation of the Greens' members of the European Parliament would attend the event.

"Not only will be go, but a large delegation of MEPs from the Greens will be our guests and, as a green-left political organization, we believe that all people were born equal and have the same rights, which they have to be able to exercise in various fields of life," Lazovic told BETA.

He added that the movement would also prepare an invitation to all political organizations to show that the Constitution and laws apply on everyone in Serbia equally, and that everyone has the right to express their difference in the way that suits them.

Asked to comment on the statements of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic about the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations in Brussels, Lazovic said that the main problem with the negotiations was that nobody had information about what is actually being negotiated. "Vucic goes to Brussels, that lasts a while and then he describes his own version about something having lasted for eight hours, but (the question is) what has lasted for eight hours, what has our side offered that the other has refused, and vice-versa? We do not have a negotiation framework to declare a stance on," Lazovic stated.
