Vucic With French Businesses on Participation in Infrastructure Projects

Vucic met in Belgrade on Sept. 29 with representatives of the French business association “Movement of French Companies – MEDEF (BETAPHOTO/MILOS MISKOV)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met in Belgrade on Sept. 29 with representatives of the French business association “Movement of French Companies – MEDEF,” to discuss investments into priority commercial sectors and the French companies’ interest in participating in the realization of major infrastructure projects in Serbia.

Vucic assessed that economic and political stability, as well as comprehensive reforms, had brought Serbia “to a leading position, as one of the most popular investment destinations in the world.”

The topics of Vucic’s talks with representatives of the largest association of employers in France were also food, ecology, renewable energy sources, development of the IT sector and the software industry, financing of projects, development of Belgrade and the French companies’ interest in participating in the project of reconstruction and modernization of the Belgrade-Nis fast railway.
