European Union spokesman Peter Stano Said on March 11 that the main priority for Brussels was the fulfillment of the obligations undertaken by Belgrade and Pristina during their dialogue, remarking that the two sides had not done much toward implementation.

Stano said the EU was still waiting for the final official report on the Banjska incident to see who was responsible for the standoff between an armed group of Serbs and members of the Kosovo Police on Sept. 24 last year.

Asked to comment on a meeting between Serbian Ambassador to the U.S. Marko Djuric and erstwhile vice president of the Serb List Milan Radoicic, who claimed responsibility for organizing the Banjska incident, Stano replied that the EU did not need to comment on every meeting between representatives of the Serbian authorities and various individuals.

Who you meet with says more about you, especially if it's a person suspected of committing a crime, the EU spokesman told a news conference in Brussels.

A photograph of Djuric and Radoicic sitting at a restaurant and talking was posted to the X social media platform, but the date of the encounter is not known.
