Minister Says TPP Kostolac Is Operational, Price of Electricity Won't Change

Trial runs at thermal power plant Kostolac B3 have been completed and it is now fully operational, Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic said on Oct. 11.

The minister told public broadcaster RTS that performance guarantee tests at the thermal power plant would start over the weekend of Oct. 12-13 and would last up to three weeks.

Djedovic Handanovic also said that electricity and gas prices for households would not change during the heating season.
