Serbia must not stand idly by regarding attempts to arrest Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, but rather as a guarantor of the Dayton Agreement must "delegitimize" German diplomat Christian Schmidt, who has usurped the position of U.N. high representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, People's Party leader Vladimir Gajic said on April 25.
"Schmidt is acting like a colonial administrator of an empire that conquered a territory in the 18th century. He has given himself the right to enact laws on his own, which is happening in Europe for the first time since Louis XIV. In the present-day world, not even North Korean leader Kim Jong Un does that," Gajic told Newsmax Balkan TV.
Gajic pointed out that arresting Dodik would be a cardinal error.
"If someone wants to cause a conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina, then let them keep trying to arrest Dodik," said Gajic.
