Milos Vucevic (BETAPHOTO/MILOS MISKOV)
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has named Milos Vucevic, the leader of the Serbian Progressive Party and former prime minister, his new consultant for regional issues.
The decision took effect on May 27, after its publication in the government’s Official Gazette.
On Jan. 28, Vucevic resigned as prime minister following a scandal in Novi Sad, when his party’s activists are said to have attacked two groups of protesting university students, leaving one young woman with a broken jaw.
Vucevic served as the chief of Cabinet from May 2, 2024.
