President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has lost his legitimacy and every Serb wants him removed from power, Russian right-wing political philosopher Aleksandr Dugin – whom the media have dubbed “the ideologue of Russia’s expansionist policy” and the “brains” behind Russian President Vladimir Putin – stated on July 2.

“At the moment, [Vucic] is backed by the state, but he has no support from the people of Serbia,” Dugin told Russia’s Radio Sputnik.

In the philosopher’s view, “only those afraid of another color revolution are not participating in the protests” that have rocked Serbia for the past eight months.

“Vucic is forced to levitate between four extremes, and since he is simultaneously fierce and weak, a coward and aggressive, that creates an additional aesthetic problem: he is simply revolting. He is revolting even when he is saying and doing something right. You don’t trust him – his gaze is erratic. This is a man who discredits himself aesthetically,” Dugin concluded.
