Green-Left Front
A delegation of the Green-Left Front had talks in Belgrade with representatives of the German party Left (Die Linke) about the crisis in Serbia and “possibilities for international support to democratic processes in the country,” the Green-Left Front announced on Oct. 2.
Bundestag member Maren Kaminski said that it was important that the parliaments of EU member states became more strongly included in solving the crisis and that the issue of Serbia was more often on their agendas. She condemned the “police brutality” and said she supported the rebelling citizens.
“Also discussed were the possibilities for cooperation between Die Linke and the Green-Left Front in the fields of education, culture and cultural spaces, exchange of experience in political organizing, activism and inclusion of citizens in politics,” reads the statement of the Green-Left Front.
