Sjenica and Tutin Have more Voters than Residents

In the upcoming snap parliamentary elections, 27,964 citizens of Sjenica will be eligible to vote, or nearly 4,000 more than the municipality’s population (24,083), according to the 2022 population census, Radio Sto Plus radio reported on Sept. 22.
 
In the past week, 62 new voters were registered in that municipality, 56 of whom have reached the voting age, while six registered their residence in Sjenica. Another town which has more voters (33,843) than residents (33,053) is Tutin. In the past week, 112 people acquired suffrage rights in this municipality, 108 of whom by reaching the voting age.
 
Novi Pazar also saw an increase in the number of registered voters to 95,224 over the last week, with 232 people reaching the voting age and 10 registering their place of residence in the town. Registration in the Serbian electoral roll and the polling station for the Oct. 25 elections can be checked online through the official portal  upit.birackispisak.gov.rs.
